Celery is a typical mediterranean vegetable, delicate and fresh, rich in vitamins. People prefer it raw and it has become one of the main ingredients during aperitifs, where it is presented with light but savory sauces. Celery is also the key ingredient in typical Italian cuisine. For all these reasons we decided to expand our range by creating a celery extra virgin olive oil, perfect for delicate palates.

Peppermint is a natural mix between two types of wild mint, which give this plant extraordinary aromatic properties. Cultivation of Peppermint has spread rapidly throughout Europe, then in America and Japan. Its unique and fresh flavor is suitable for many uses, from cosmetic to food. It is great to flavor salty salads of meat, fish and sweets.

We want to offer you an innovative first dish with fish.

Spaghetti, gamberetti, pachino con olio alla menta piperita

Fresh spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, shrimps and Peppermint extravergin olive oil

Ingredients for 2/3 person:

  • 200 g Spaghetti
  • 12 shrimps
  • 15 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bottle Peppermint extravirgin olive oil (15ml)
  • ½ glass white wine
  • Salt and Pepper, at taste

Preparation

First of all, wash the shrimps by removing the head and the shell.

Place a large frying pan on the fire and pour the Peppermint Extravirgin olive oil “Live Oil”.  After few moments add the cherry tomatoes and mix them with the oil. As soon as the cherry tomatoes have dried add shrimps and white wine. Leti t bake for about 2 minutes, then add salt and pepper.

Cook spaghetti in salted water, dip them al dente and then place them in the pan with cherry tomatoes and shrimos.  Serve the dish by garnishing with mint and parsley leaves.
